Nate Cooper and I were former coworkers, looking to create a series of educational comic books to give away for free. But our innocent Kickstarter campaign turned into an unexpected offer from geek-friendly publisher No Starch Press, and we spent the next two years writing and drawing a 264 page book that became Build Your Own Website: A Comic Guide to HTML, CSS, and Wordpress (2014). Two years later, it still ranks in the top 50 CSS books on Amazon with an average 4.5 star review, and has been translated into five different languages.
