Kim Graziano, better known by her pen name Kim Gee, is a New York-born designer and illustrator now living in the Isle of Man.
I began my creative career at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, studying Fashion Illustration and Communication Design. My early twenties were spent self-publishing autobiographical comics, before a fateful Kickstarter campaign led to a book deal illustrating Build Your Own Website: A Comic Guide to HTML, CSS, and Wordpress (No Starch Press, 2014), which has since been translated into several different languages.
After a collection of internships, I became the one-woman design department at Tasting Table, a Webby Award-winning food and drink website. I spent 4 years designing custom ad campaigns and websites for big name consumer brands (including Samsung, Mastercard, and Ikea), creating editorial illustrations, and eating whatever free food I could find in the Test Kitchen.
In 2016 I moved from New York City to the Isle of Man and founded Kim Gee Studio. I spend my days designing logos and websites, painting pet portraits, and creating illustrated products available in my online shop. Craving a creative social activity, I founded the Isle of Man Drawing Club, a community event series for friendly local artists. Along with our regular life drawing sessions I also lead small art workshops and host private life drawing parties for adults, doing my best to bring that New York City buzz to the Isle of Man. In 2018 I was named one of the Isle of Man’s 30 Under 30.
