Colour your way through the Isle of Man ABC book
A follow-up to a popular children’s reading book has been released in the run-up to Christmas.
The Isle of Man ABC Colouring and Activity Book has been published by author Gemma Hjerth.
Based around the successful ’M is for Manx Cat’, Gemma has created a new book around the colourful and striking images produced by illustrator Kim Graziano, and included pictures to colour in and other activities to do , with the aim to educate, enhance creativity and encourage exploration of the Isle of Man.
’I love the Isle of Man and I loved the process of publishing my picture book too,’ said Gemma
’I wanted to empower young children, including my own, to feel a similar sense of pride, joy and personal achievement.
’I hope locals, visitors and recipients around the world will have fun discovering the treasures of the Isle of Man, getting creative and practising some Manx Gaelic too.’
The book has been produced with help from the Isle of Man Arts Council.
